Video Production is a class for students who will learn to create a daily news show that is broadcast on the Smythe Academy school television network. Each student will participate in all aspects of the production process including staging, lighting, script writing, directing, acting, camera operator, editing and producing.

The class has a video production room and a computer lab available for production. Studio grade cameras and software are available for production as well as iMovie software and Final Cut Pro studio production software. Curriculum is designed by the instructor to compliment the needs of the school, community, students and equipment.

This is a busy, fun class where students receive daily feed back on their shows and projects. Students will be encouraged to participate in community projects and movie competitions as they become available including Smythe's Movie Night and Academy Awards.
