Spirit Week kicks off on Monday, September 9th! We look forward to seeing everyone participate and show their school spirit! - Dress Code Reminder:
Please ensure your child adheres to the following dress code: - Shirts/Tops: No red or blue, tank tops, cropped shirts, or mid-drifts. Must be school-appropriate.
- Shoes, Laces, and Socks: Cannot be red or blue.
- Pants/Bottoms: Must fit! No red or blue. Jeans are allowed but should not have visible skin through rips. Leggings under rips and pajama bottoms are not permitted. Sweats/joggers are fine as long as they fit. Shorts/skirts must reach fingertip length when arms are at the sides.
- Rally Schedule:
On Friday, September 13th, we will celebrate our 7th-grade students being newly knighted and honor our 8th-grade students who earned a 3.0 or above during their 7th-grade fourth quarter. Please note that this celebration will not change the student release time; school will end at 2:37 PM. - Sports Tryouts:
Sports tryouts begin on Monday, September 9th and will continue on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3 to 4 PM. Students interested in cheer, girls' volleyball, and cross country are encouraged to participate. A late bus will be available, dropping students off at designated elementary schools. Please ensure that all sports physical packets are completed before trying out. Unfortunately due to a lack of interest in Flag football this year, we will not have a football team. - Now Accepting Applications:
Smythe Families, spread the word! We have a few open spaces for the 2024-25 school year in General Education. If you know of any family or friends who might be interested, please have them apply online on our website or stop by the front office. Space is limited, so the sooner, the better! Students can earn 50 Minga points for each referral; just make sure they mention your name when applying. Visit Smythe Enrollment for more details. - Transportation Update:
For updated route times, please visit the following link: Transportation Update. These changes went into effect last Wednesday, Sept 4th.
